It provides instructor led (hands-on) contractor training classes on asbestos handling, OSHA, worker handling, first aid, management, and many others. They realized with their business growing that their website had to evolve. ChallengeProvide online registration for classroom training. Build a content management system (CMS) and learning management system (LMS) for site info and to track and record class and student information. Develop mini applications to work with the CMS to create postcards, a preregistration form per class, and a dynamic sign in sheet. SolutionBuild an integrated solution for CTI. First, develop a CMS to send information to their visitor site. Second, put the LMS into place for the student and class information. And third, design ways of pulling the data for printing materials on demand. ResultThe CMS handles most of the website content. The LMS works with the CMS to deliver the training schedule to the visitor side of the website. They work together to mark classes as Spanish where appropriate and to present the number of days a course is. The LMS then provides the dates and times the class is available on the class details site page.
